So I flashed the drive to LG's 1.1 version, then used the UHD Tool to flash it to 1.0 and saw in DVDFab that it was on version 1.0. The UHD Tool did flash the drive correctly the first time, but since I was just re-flashing with the same Version #, I couldn't tell if it actually flashed. I do not want to go back to the old school method of flashing cd drives. I'm happy to help them with whatever they need. Someone at DVDFab needs to figure out why the drive tray isn't closing, allowing the UHD Tool to finish correctly and fix that issue. So I have to use Task Manager to exit the UHD Tool then exit DVDFab, then restart the pc, and it will show as flashed if you look at the firmware version from within DVDFab>Settings. The UHD Tool was flashing properly, but the drive tray never closes, so the program never finishes and never tells you it's finished. I grabbed the wrong Official LG firmware file originally.Īfter getting the correct file for the LG WH16NS60, I was able to flash it to version 1.1, then use the UHD Tool to flash it to 1.0.
